What else do you have pierced?

I was at the mall last weekend, and I passed by one of those jewelry kiosks that had a huge display of pierced geegaws for bellybuttons and noses and whatnot.

My ears are pierced, but nothing else.  But I've noticed that in some erotic books I've read, the hero or heroine may have their navels, lips, tongues, eyebrows, and sometimes their genitals are wearing studs.

Is this a "fad" thing? Or are piercings becoming more prevalent in society and fiction?
