Review from The Romance Studio -- The Virgin Sacrifice

Ilisi had resigned herself to suffer a horrible death at the claws of a merciless dragon. She finds herself a very willing captive of Erwin who is both man and dragon. He is also captivated by her and wants to make love with her, and have a life long relationship. Will a misunderstanding tear them apart or will they be able to find the happiness that they both deserve?

I enjoyed this paranormal romance story. I liked Ilisi. She is strong and feisty. When she thought she would be killed, she didn't panic or cry because she knew that would not help her predicament. She was brave enough to talk and touch the dragon, and also to make fun, but not in a malicious way of Erwin. She was sure she would die a virgin, but thanks to Erwin that didn't happen. I liked Erwin too because he wanted, and liked her just the way she was. She thought of herself as homely, but he did not see her that way at all. They were able to resolve a misunderstanding that arose between them with happy results. The love scenes between them are sizzling hot. This story contains very explicit love scenes and language.

From Storm Goddess Book Reviews - The Virgin Sacrifice

Blurb: Centuries ago, the town of Vistoller was nearly destroyed by dragons, until the townspeople realized that the attacks ceased once a young maiden was swept away by the creatures. Since then, every year, on the cusp of the autumn moon, a virgin is prepared for the dragon's arrival, to ensure another bountiful season without retaliation.

Except this year, the creature has no idea what it's being offered when it's presented with Ilisi. Neither does Ilisi know what to expect when the creature takes her away.

They’re both in for the surprise of their lives.

Review: Even though this story has only 44 pages, I really liked it.

Illsi is a strong woman. I couldn't imagine what I would do if I knew I was to be a sacrifice for a dragon. I wouldn't have walked and let myself be tied up and not tried to escape. She knows that it wouldn't be any good any way. She has accepted her fate and she just wants to get it over with.

Just imagine how shocked you would be when you find out what the dragons really do to you. It's better than being a sacrifice. Edwin is a dragon and he can swift to dragon form. I love to read books about dragons and this one really surprised me. I can't say any more because if I do I will be giving the story away and I don't want to do that. I just want you to read this book and find out for yourself.

I loved the cover of the book and I believe that it goes with the story really well. It is like they were made for each other. I would recommend this book to any one that likes dragons and loves a short read.

The Kama Sutra Alphabet

From Lostateminor -- "London-based French illustrator Malika Favre, who illustrated Penguin Books’ new cover of the Kama Sutra in 2011, decided to develop the original set of 7 letters — featuring copulating figures in various sex poses — she created for the cover into the full alphabetical set of 26 letters. Good idea, we say."
